Hello there, my fellow Ice Warriors! This week has been pretty packed with exciting things so lets go through that while we see who our amazing Warriors of the Week are!

This past week has been pretty darn packed with stuff. Cool events and everything, but arguably the most exciting, our Polar VS Blizzard Tournament was announced! Anyhow, here are our new Warriors of the Week! These individuals have gone above and beyond to make sure IW is a safe, fun and inclusive space for everyone, earning these roles. Please join me in congratulating these people on their new titles!! (Or spam-dm them, your choice).

Starting off with our New Members of the Week, everyone give a good congratulations to…. 🥁🥁 Happy and Bread! Congrats! These 2 people have been troopers ever since they joined 1-2 weeks ago. They’ve either been sending random bread in chat, or attending events spreading their happiness; keeping IW active. No matter what they did, we are super excited to have them here in IW and hopefully we’ll see more of them around! Congrats!

Now moving on to our Troops of the Week!! Everyone give it up to my boat (yes, i meant to say boat), Edwin, and the 2 absolute pros Monika and Martina! These three have been absolutely killing it lately, showing up in chat, attending events, and just being awesome all the time. Edwin might be one of our newer faces, but he’s already proven to be incredibly dedicated, always showing up and getting involved. As for Monika and Martina, these two are basically a dynamic duo at this point. You’ll almost always see them at events, usually side by side, and their energy and teamwork make everything way more fun. Whether it’s helping keep the chat alive, hyping others up, or just making IW feel like a more awesome place, all three of them have gone above and beyond this week and have really earned this title. Congratulations, you three!

The next title is… Chatters of the Week! AKA the super-troopers who have kept our main chat alive and active all week long! (If you’re not one of them… step up your game 😤). Now give it up for…. Miaw, Kirbo and Mogi4, in order from first to last!! I’ve seen all of you chat basically daily, so this is well deserved. Congrats, yappers!

Next title is kinda close to the last one, we have our Inviters of the Week! A top three ranking of whoever invited the most people. New members are key to making IW grow in activity and size, so these people are key to make IW grow as well! Now, the three people with the most invites this week are: Mogi4, Mohamed and Nightly (Again, in that order)!! Maybe one of the people they invited are getting New Member of the Week, or maybe even they’ll be staff one day?! Who knows! Either way, thank you for spreading the word and helping IW grow and congratulations on being our Inviters of the Week!

The next title is Games Host of the Week!! This title doesnt look like much, but would any of you even be here if we didn’t have events? Didn’t think so! That means this person did some of the most work to retain members by hosting fun and engaging events to keep people here. That’s why we’re giving a big shoutout to Dexvin!! Over the past couple of weeks, Dexvin has been hosting consistently, however not just often, but thoughtfully, making sure to switch things up so nobody gets bored! Much appreciated, Dexvin. Congratulations!

Now the last title, although definitely not the least, we have our Staff of the Week!!! These are staff members who have gone above and beyond, either doing staff duties behind the scenes or doing engaging things for all of you! This week, we’re recognizing two amazing individuals, Jakob and Sammy!
Let’s start with Sammy. you’ve probably seen Sammy around in chat, but there’s so much more happening behind the scenes. From consistently posting fun and thoughtful Polls/QOTDs, to warmly welcoming new troops into the community, and even taking the lead in hosting games, Sammy has been a little all over the place keeping things interactive and friendly. Their effort to keep IW engaging and inclusive doesn’t go unnoticed, and i hope this proves that! Congratulations, Sammy!
Then we have Jakob, whose also been doing some serious work both in front of and behind the curtain. If you’ve seen our recent youtube videos, that’s a great example of Jakob‘s creativity at work; helping IW grow. But beyond that, Jakob is constantly contributing behind the scenes, helping with staff duties, keeping things running smoothly, and quietly putting in the effort that keeps everything glued together. Congratulations, Jakob!
