How Bud discovered the Ice Warriors

Ice Warriors, IWNC Building — Hey guys! Today I’ll be talking about how I (Bud) discovered the Ice Warriors!!! Talking about how I first came across IW, who invited me, what made me return after my hiatus and my experience in IW as a whole.

It all started in 2022 when I was invited by DrQueen into Ice Warriors, from then, I was active, until one fateful day I just… vanished, then, in the summer of 2024, I was messaged by DiamondMC, saying that I lost my rank, but if I completed a form, I’d get it back! So, I did the form, got my rank back, and started talking in IW again! Then, when I reached Head General, I applied for Junior Staff in Training, worked towards getting staff-in-training and suddenly, I was chosen and put into a SIT group with 4 others and we trained for about a month for staff and that’s how I’m now a staff member!

Here’s a screenshot from when I returned to the community after my hiatus!

The clear answer here is: yes I am.

When I returned, it was like I was spiritually bonded to Ice Warriors… All the time I was talking, making new friends and all those things, I realised IW means one thing to me: making friends; because without it, half of the people I know right now; I wouldn’t know without Ice Warriors, which is why I love it so much. I’ve noticed how much more different it is now compared to back then, Roblox events were so much more rare, and it was mostly on Club Penguin Army Battlegrounds, but now, it’s all Roblox, to this day, I still don’t know what caused IW to shut down and become a gaming community.

One of my favorite memories when I returned was when I met Eli (formerly known as Lumi), immediately, I liked her (PLATONICALLY OF COURSE XDDDD), playing events with her was so fun and we quickly became good friends!

Lastly, while I’m not that active anymore, I still do staff duties behind the scenes every now and again whenever I can because it makes me happy, like this post for example!

Thanks for reading! Comment below if you enjoyed reading this post and maybe we’ll do more just like this in the future!
