A lot of questions are asked here in Ice Warriors: How do I joni? Who is the biggest simp? Which division is better? Well, this column is here to answer some of the questions that you Ice Warriors have! We got the opportunity to interview three of our leaders: Alex, Iceyfeet1234 and Regan, and one of our Leaders in Training, Orange.
We first talk to Alex, about her thoughts on leading an army.
Q: The troops want to know, how did you decide that you wanted to lead an army?
A: When I first joined the Army Community earlier in 2020, I was super involved in IW helping to recruit and make friendships with people in the server. I always loved being in leadership positions in school, whether it be in group projects or activities. I really enjoy being a mentor for others, working hard, and being a piece of making something greater! So I knew that I was interested in being a leader in this community!
Q: Do you have any advice or tips for future leaders?
A: Yes! One of the biggest things that you need to have in order to be a leader is being a team-player. Listen to others, and try to work well in teams as best as you can. Lead, but also follow the lead of others. Everyone brings a fresh set of eyes and ideas to the table and it is important to consider everyone’s point of view when making decisions. Remain humble and do not take anything for granted!

A: There are countless opportunities to get involved in IW, whether it be helping plan events, recruiting, hosting games, and more! Don’t be shy to reach out to any Trusted Staff, LIT, or Leader- we would love for you to get more involved! Ice Warriors Forever!!

Due to popular demand, we also contacted Regan to inquire about his smoothie recipe.
Q: How did you come up with your smoothie recipe?
A: It was always a smoothie I got in a shopping centre here. I really liked the name so I bought it, thankfully I liked it and it had the recipe on the sign so I made it at home haha. It just happened to be orange juice and milk.
Q: What is the smoothie made of?
A: It was orange juice, milk, peanut butter, banana & a choc ice (Irish chocolate icecream)
Q: It sounds interesting, if you were to come up with a custom name for the smoothie, what would it be?
A: It’s called a cheeky monkey, so I’d probably keep with the monkey theme and call it “The Ben special”

A: Ice Warriors forever. Tiocfaidh ár lá. Mare is a simp.

We also asked Ice Warriors creator Iceyfeet1234 about event planning!
Q: How long does it take to plan an event?
A: It all depends really, it can be pretty quick or pretty time consuming, solo events are usually the quickest but planning an event with another army could take anywhere from half an hour to an entire day.
Q: How do you come up with ideas for battles, such as the Halloween showdowns we had?
A: We try to think of ideas that will be fun/entertaining for the troops. Having normal battles over and over can be a bit boring, so I thought of having themed battles for the holiday to spice things up a bit.
Q: Do you have anything else to add?
A: If anyone ever has any fun ideas for events feel free to let us know, we’re always open to try new things out!

Last but not least, we talked to Orange about change in IW.
Q: If you could change one thing about IW what would it be?
A: Honestly there’s really nothing I would change but if there’s something I NEEDED to pick hmmmm it would probably to kick the simps out of the army such as Clindsz and Mare
Q: Why Clindsz and Mare specifically?
A: Because they are the biggest simps in this army
