Ryan: To clear up any confusion, Andrew will not be leading the Ice Warriors and will be an advisor, not a leader.
We receive well over 100+ join apps every day. We have 30-40+ people attend our events, with very little of those 30-40+ people being new recruits. Obviously those recruits are sticking with us. Starting Monday (hopefully), armies will undergo a big change, and we need to be prepared. It’s time we’ve made some changes.
On our chat there have been a lot of people starting fights and talking inappropriately. This stops now. I have decided to bring back Andrew to help me clear the chat and ranks of unwanted people who are doing more harm than good to IW. These people just sit on our chat and scare off the new recruits.
You guys have to realize that we are still a CLUB PENGUIN army. Our chat is supposed to be about club penguin, but we can obviously go off topic and talk about other things. But that doesn’t mean we should talk about PG-13 things 24/7. For those that want that kind of talk, then you can simply use the IW Veterans chat, where the rules are MUCH more relaxed, and the only people that are mods/owners are the IW Veterans.
Now, some people may be scared that Andrew is rejoining. Obviously I can see why, but you have to realize he just wants to help IW. The people who sit on chat and talk about PG-13 material are the ones that scare away new recruits and do much more harm than good to IW.
Starting today, ALL troops/vets on IW chat must welcome new recruits help them fit into IW (if you are already doing this, then keep up the good work). If they want to go on CP, then jump on CP for a little bit with them. 10 minutes of your time won’t kill you.
Everyone in IW was brand new to armies at some point. Everything seemed so confusing at first, but after sticking around for a while you got the hang of it. Nowadays new troops won’t stick around if you are sharing your high school drama with them. Save that for story time at the IW vets chat.
