Fan Art Friday #12

Hey Ice Warriors!

I hope you’ve all had a great week. It’s time for another Fan Art Friday! Along with our massive return to Club Penguin, we’ve had many amazing pieces of art shared with the community this week. I also had the opportunity to ask troops about their inspirations and further details about their artwork. Let’s have a look at some of our troops’ art down below!

For our first piece, I spoke with Trusted Staff member Subster, on one of her many custom penguin art pieces. This particular piece is dedicated to IW Leader in Training, IceQueen.

Snow: Hey Subs! What did you use to create these awesome custom penguin drawings?

Subster: So I use photoshop! I do most of my digital art on photoshop because it’s the easiest to work with personally and I know the ins and outs of it.

Next up, we have a cool and very detailed drawing made by our Head Major, Kirb.

Kirb: There is none. I just draw what I can think of.

For our third piece, we have an awesome Skull Pirate drawing called ‘Goldey’ made by our Private, The Ghost Pirate.

Snow: Hey Ghost Pirate! I thought your Skull Pirate drawing was really cool! What was the inspiration behind it?

Ghost Pirate: The inspiration behind Goldey’s creation came from the Pirates of the Caribbean, mostly the beautiful way from Pirates 3. I cried when I saw the sunset & sunrise with beautiful music… here I imagine… a freaking Angel came to help good pirates against the darkness abyss like Demons, Devil, & Davy Jones. When I think about that, Goldey has three meanings for his character. 1) He’s an Angel skeleton that can represent pirates in sunset beautifully. 2) Pirates love golds & treasures so it’s obviously pirates are greedy with it, but then again, he’s a powerful Pirate who’s able to lead pirate fleets and good guys. 3) Gold can also mean representing suns. He can be an angel & solars in one, making it like he holds the powers to destroy darkness & evils. He is a good pirate, he roamed around many worlds with his own ship, The Royal Treasure!

Next, we’ve got an impressive Snow Globe art piece made by our Head Lieutenant, Clovini.

Snow: Hey Clovini! Loved the blend of colors on your Snow Globe piece. How long did it take for you to create this?

Clovini: Hmm a few hours.

And last but not least, we have a very special drawing dedicated to our new LIT Lemonade1Sonic, created by our Trusted Staff member, Kayles.

Snow: Hey Kayles! Really liked the amount of detail and contrasting color your drawing for Lemon has. What did you use to create it?

Kayles: Ty! I usually use a lot of references and color palettes to get colors and shapes right. For the program itself, I used firealpaca and some of the features that come with it. 🙂

That’s all for this week folks! We’ve seen so many different levels of creativity this week that I can’t wait to see what else our troops will come up with! Let us know which of these art pieces were your favorite in the comment section. If you would like the chance to have your artwork presented in our next Fan Art Friday, make sure to post it in the #fan-art channel of the Ice Warriors discord!
