Events Towards the Finals

Personally, I thought we had an overall great week, finishing it off by getting 3rd on this week’s top ten armies list and with a great 35+ event. We are now days away from possibly winning another tournament, and we must not miss the opportunity of doing so! We must continue to train and do well at our normal and much more relaxed events. Our goal is to be very consistent at tactics and size, components that are very necessary if we want to win in battles. With that being said, I ask that all Ice Warriors attend as many of these following events as possible.

Also, the 4th in Command test is not done yet. We still have to test a few more participants, and I have to talk it over with my fellow owners. If all goes well, I will announce the winners after the final battle of the March Madness Tournament. Now, look below for the events of this week.

March Madness Semi-Final Round: Ice Warriors vs Doritos Results

This was an amazing battle for us, and it proves we are still in shape for doing well in tournaments. Of course, we won, and that means we will be facing the Nachos in the championship finals. Our size was pretty great; we had 35+ Ice Warriors throughout the event. We were almost able to encircle the entire Snow Forts, but were able to encircle the Ice Berg. Tactics were just great as well. Performance overall was amazing, so nice job.

Expect more events leading up to the one and only finals battle of the March Madness Tournament. Pictures taken from the event have been posted below.

Training Session 3/16/13 Results

So today we had a good training session to prepare for tomorrow’s battle. I thought we could have done better in some parts of this training, but most of it went pretty well. We had 25 Ice Warriors throughout the session, which isn’t too bad, I bet we would’ve had 30+ if everyone had come. Tactics weren’t bad at all, though some seemed a bit inconsistent. Judging by our overall performance, we should be able to pull off great size + great tactics = victory.

Training Session 3/15/13 Results

Hey guys, Alb here posting results once more. So today we had a short and successful training session, nothing too big of a challenge. If you have noticed, we’ve been becoming more consistent at having all our planned events. We were supposed to battle the LT today for a tournament, but they could not for unknown reasons. We had 20-25 Ice Warriors today, which is pretty good for a Friday night. Our tactics were great too, so nice job!

With this event at hand, I can tell we will continue to do well during the weekends. We will continue to show that we are excellent contenders within each tournament we participate in. The fun never ends… so make sure to attend this weekend’s events!

Training Session Results

Hello IW,

We had a great event today. We were originally going to have a recruiting event, but because of server confusion we changed it to a training session. It started a little slow but it ended up to be a great event! We maxed about 15-18, and averaged about 12. The troops did very well on the tactics and followed all of the orders. So great job troops, you all got on and did the tactics well and on time! We could have done some things better but overall it was a great training session.

Now here’s some pictures:

Great Job Everyone!

Practice battle with LT 3/13/13 results

WE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB! At first I was scared but once I got into the battle, all of you cooperated and did an excellent job, I even led us to victory, this battle was just amazing. I loved this event and we walked all over LT! For any LT reading this post, ya’ll did a good job but one thing… you do realize you lost to a mod! XD but it’s fine! Alright I know this post is a bit… weird but I’m just hyper from event.

So we probably got 20-25 on CP and did plenty of joke bombs, not to mention those emote bombs as well. I now know how Alb feels with some people being AFK and it annoyed me as well.

PICS ARE TO BE ADDED SOON BY ALBERT! SInce I can’t take pics.

Rate this post on a scale of 1 – 10, alb.

A Lesson On Tactics

Hello IW!

I decided to make a lesson on tactics for anyone who may not know exactly what the tactics are, or I guess anyone who wants to read it anyways.

The basic tactics are:

Try memorizing most if these because you’ll need to if you lead an army. If you go to many battles, memorizing them will be easy. Now time for some advanced tactics.

Bombs: Bombs are very simple. All you do is run around. Leaders will ask you to do tactics while you bomb. The most common bomb is the joke bomb because it is really effective. Here is an example of what it could come out like:

USA9

* E+Z (pizza) bomb

Waterfalls: Waterfalls are just like bombs except you run up and down. The best places for waterfalls is the Mine Shack and the Ice Berg because there is a lot of room.

Rakes: Rakes are very, very simple. You run right to left and then left to right. Once again best places to use them is the Mine Shack and the Ice Berg because of all the room.

Here are a few examples of tactics in use:

THURSDAY1

* An E+2 (smiley face) tactic

THURSDAY3

* An E+F (flower) tactic

ULEAD7

* An E+P (puffle) bomb

Those are most of the tactics. We use tactics at almost all events, so you should try to learn most of the tactics so you can be prepared for when you have to use them. Tactics are one of the main things that CP armies get judged on. It can basically make or break an army.

I hope you learned something from this lesson, and that is all for now.

UK Training Session Results

Hi IW,

Today we did pretty well in a UK+Europe training session. We maxed about 22 and had some GREAT tactics. In my point of view this was REALLY successful event because we picked up a few recruits on the way. Most people did the Tactics but some people were AFK. Me, Kale & Alicia led event because it was the 4ic test. So this was a pretty good start for the week . There were some Owners on but they did not lead.
