Hello Ice Warriors,
While Bearsboy leaving may not directly affect our UK division, I am wanting to make sure that we all stay together in this improving side of the Atlantic. I am pleased to see that since my arrival I am very happy with our improvement and would like to see to the stability or even continuous improvement of what we have achieved. So, my fellow british (and irish…), grab your tea and lets have a chat.

Since the first week of December, I’ve taken our best UK division sizes from our best event of the week and seen how we have done on a week-by-week basis. Make sure you note that some weeks are not included because of the Christmas Holidays, for when USA and UK were both, obviously, on holiday.
- 2nd-8th (Dec): None
- 9th-15th (Dec): 12-17
- 16th-22nd (Dec): 20+
- 13th-19th (Jan): 10-15
This shows how, during the month of December, we improved in sizes and this was a very good thing to see. However, this winter break has taken back some of the progress that we have achieved over the course of December. However, we can see that in the first week of December, which was poor for us as a whole, we had no events for the UK division, but we slowly improved to get over 20 on CP. For a division that during November struggled to get over 5, was very good. I now want us to get back to getting 20 and challenge ANY UK division across CP Armies. We are capable of doing that and if you, the UK Troop, puts in the effort and stay committed to the army, we can build something special.
The question you may be thinking is, what can I do? Surely you (the leader) are in-charge of making us rise? Of course the main success of the UK division is down to Lion and myself, but with your support we can improve it further. Maybe you could make your goal to recruit 1 soldier for the event. This doesn’t take too much effort and can be quickly done, meaning you may get more promotions, help our sizes and improve the army as a whole. What else can you do?
- Going AFK, while you may think is a small problem, if a lot of people do it then it can be a problem for the leaders with tactics going downhill. If you REALLY need to be AFK, please put that in your name, but during events try not to be.
- As said before, try to recruit 1 or 2 soldiers before the event, which can be a quick process and help benefit the armies size and your progress in the army personally. If you really want to impress maybe recruit more!
- Repeating tactics and helping to get people online is good, great infact, but spamming the chat can become a hindrance and off-topic conversations can ruin tactics. Remember that there is after event time to talk, which is a long time, and don’t lead as this is what the owners will be doing. You can show how good you are at leading during U-Lead sessions.
If you have any questions about what else you can do to help events, ask myself or any other owner and I’m sure they will be happy to answer the query that you have. Ok, I’m sure that your tea is almost finished by now?

Not much left…!
I’ll end it brief, we are looking for the UK division to continue the progress that has been achieved and with you helping, the army and you will benefit from this change and hopefully the increase of our fighting British and Europeans. Stay focused and keep up the effort that we’ve seen from you. This message can go not only for the UK Division, but the army as a whole.
-Kingfunks4 IW 3ic & UK Leader
