Practice Battle with Army Republic

This event will be our first practice battle of the year! This time we’re up against the Army Republic, an army that pretty much gets good sizes of 30+. On the other hand, we’ve been doing pretty well ourselves so far. With that being said, we should be able to give a good fight and get great sizes as well. The details for this event are below.

Training Session 1/4/13 Results

Today, we had a pretty good training session instead of having a division battle which would take much more time. It wasn’t exactly the best, but it was still good. We were able to average 22 troops and max up to 26 on the server Sub Zero. Our tactics though definitely made up for the decent size as they were mostly superb and well performed. I hope to see much more greater size within the following weeks. This event was worth 5 medals. Pictures from Nitro52 and I have been posted below.

Back to Back Division Battles

This weekend we will have 2 division practice battles, one on each day. If you are unsure what division you are in, then check http://icewarriorsarmy.com/divisions to see. Also make sure to be on both IW chat and your division chats during the battles. The links are xat.com/IWBlizzard and xat.com/IWPolar . It is important that everyone follows orders and knows which side they’re on. Also make sure to wear your IW uniform during the battles, not to change your penguin color to the color of your division. Here is the info:

Banner Contest!

We will be holding a banner contest for all IW and non-IW troops. Anyone is able to enter, but there will only be 3 banners selected in the finals that will represent IW on other websites. The winning prize of the banner contest will be a contributer job on the IW site for 2 weeks. The banner must obviously be blue, and contain a CP IW penguin or a custom IW penguin. Other than that, the contest will work like any other. Everyone will have up until Saturday night, January 12th, to finish there banner. We will have 1 big poll, with the winners being the top 3 banners. Here’s a recap on all the info:

  • Must contain a CP IW penguin or a custom IW penguin.

  • Must be finished by Saturday night, January 12th.

  • Voting will last for 1 week, and will end on Saturday night, January 19th.

  • Prize will be contributer on the IW site for 2 weeks.

First Event of the New Year!

Jack Edit: Hope you don’t mind, Icey, but I made a few changes to the post.

I hope everyone had a fun and exciting New Year! This year we are expecting a lot of changes in Club Penguin, and 1 possible change that will greatly effect how we operate events. I’ll try to give more info on that as it is released. Anyways, to start off the New Year we will be having some training with the 2 IW Divisions. The first event of this New Year will be a Division Training session. On Friday we will have the same thing, followed by a final Division Battle on Saturday. For now, here is the info on the 2 Division Training sessions. I’ll post the info for the Division Battle on Wednesday or Thursday. Find your division on the ranks page. Light Blue is Blizzard and Dark Blue is Polar.

New Years Eve Party!

Our annual New Years Eve party will take place on New Years Eve on IW chat, just like every other year :D. At some points we might go on CP for fun, but most of the party will take place on the chat. There will be 2 separate parties for EU troops and for US troops. We will also have 1 big CP party with people from other CP armies, which is going to be very interesting! Here is the info:

During the late night party, all ICE WARRIORS will be an owner, while everyone else from other CP armies will be mods. Spamming rules will be SLIGHTLY less strict, but all other rules, such as advertising, swearing, and abusing, will result in a ban. The chat won’t be reset until the early hours of the morning, so if you see anyone abusing, tell a higher rank ASAP. The point of the party is to have fun, not take advantage of ownership powers.

Recruiting Session 12/30/12 Results

As 2012 nears its end, we’ve shown a great deal of power throughout the year. Today was no exception, as we had a nice recruiting session. No bots appeared, so we were set to get some people to join from CP. Our size was excellent, averaging 40+ and maxing 50 troops. Many of our tactics were performed nicely, and we did some pretty nice circles in the major rooms.

Overall, this event was great considering it was a less-than-24-hour-notice-made event. It was worth 5 medals. Pics have been posted below (thanks to Wheelo for supplying two pics).
