What we need to work on…

We’re pretty much sucking right now, and we really need to step our game up. I guess we could blame it on losing the domain, but we still have the site in our control, so it’s only a decent setback. We were doing so great last week, and now it has come down to a few tries where we can’t get it right. We’ve come to a point where size really matters, and we need to get serious about it. Whenever you come on chat, you need to have the mindset of an Ice Warrior who’s there to contribute and work with others, and not only to talk for hours on end.

But the first thing I absolutely don’t like when it comes to having events is when people are not present on the chat when we’re about to log on. If you have a few people currently “AFK (away from keyboard)” with a full chat, it won’t be much of a problem, but when you have almost everyone away at the moment, then there’s a problem. We need to really avoid that because we cannot have events with a DEAD chat. It also makes things awkward when you try to have a conversation with people who are out “cold” at the moment. I’m not calling out on anyone specifically; I’m only just stating what I observe.

The second thing I will talk about is what we need to do RIGHT NOW. As you may have known, the Hollywood Party has begun recently on CP, running from Feb. 14th-26th, which leaves us more than a week to get back up in shape. We really need to take this opportunity to go and recruit, mostly on tracker chats since that’s where every army pretty much goes. And when it comes to recruiting, it’s not all that hard. I’ve never elaborated a lot on this topic but here it is.

All it takes is a bit of time, effort, and some words to get a new and fresh person to join. You should pretty much go and ask non-registered guests if they’d like to join the CP army called Ice Warriors (in private chat). Note that you have to avoid being caught or you could be banned. Use a noob name for extra protection. If you need an example of how to do all this, then talk to me on chat and I’ll give one to you.

The last thing I want to say is that some owners need to step it up. You (owners) need to be more responsible with the troops. You know you’ve earned the title, and you need to show me your best performance. Whether its simply reminding people about when we have events, recruiting, or helping out lead/attend events, you will be fine.

If we can all contribute towards the army, then we’ll be on our path back to a greater position on the top ten + and have a great time. Remember, I’m not doing this to make things harder for everyone, but easier to deal with these problems. If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to talk to me in private chat.
