This is,
The Hunger Games.

In a fight for survival, one girl will attempt to defy the odds and bring glory to her district. In this story, you will read an on-going transition between love, action, and drama. Enjoy my preview as I go into detail what may be happening.

“And last but not least the district 12 boy is… Albert417!” Says Mara in a raspy voice. “Well come on up, dont be shy!” She urges, as Albert trudgingly moves up the steps to the podium where the other tribute, Alicia, stands along with Mara.

“So Alicia, I noticed you had shown no emotion at the reaping, but you still put up a broad and bold appearance. Can you tell me what was running through your mind?” Asks Christian during the interview.
“Well, I knew I wont go down without a fight, and I just want to make my district proud. Below Zero hasn’t really seen the glory of winning yet.”
“It was certianly a pleasure speaking to you, my dear, but we are out of time.” Christian says as he shoo’s me off into the backstage area.

My heart is racing as the clock goes by, each second an antagonising wait.

I notice a medium-sized bag standing near me, but in the cornucopia. I know I have to make a run for it, even if Aqua had told me to stay away from the cornucopia, but it seems whatever is in there, will be worthwhile.

Then I glance over to Albert. He gives me a slight nod, which is an indication of our team.

“May the 21st anual Hunger Games commence!” Shouts the game-maker as the bell goes off, and we all run towards the cornucopia.

I can only, for a moment, see the gash on my leg. Its large. Extremely. He could just finish me off right now.
“Well.” Aqua says in a stern but strict voice. “You shouldnt have picked a fight with me”
“W-where is Albert” I say, attempting to sound as intimidating as him, but failing.
“Sorry, but your little mate is gone, sweetcheeks. Hes checked out. Kaputt.”
“You tell me where he is or else-”
“Or else what? You’ll kick and flail me to death? HAH!”
“We can arrange that.” I say, with a flare beginning in my chest. I can feel my emotions burning up as I get a sudden rush of adreneline. I pull out a knife from my belt, and stab Aqua’s arm as he reaches down to reflect the knife by grabbing my hand.
“YOU LITTLE B*TCH!” Shouts Aqua as he kicks me numerous times.
I black out completely.

Now, I hope you enjoyed my preview as much as I did writing it. I wanted to write this story becuase I thought Hunger Games themed would make perfect sence to which to make a fan-book about it. And yes, for once im not a main character, so dont get your knickers in a twist. This is the perspective of Alicia, not Albert. Thanks for reading, and I also have one more note i’d like to say.
