Ice Warriors of CP

Me and the other troops walked inside. We got coke and talked for a while. Then we were headed for lunch. We walked into Icey.

”Hello everyone!” Icey said.

”Hey Icey.” I answered.

”What’s up Icey?” someone said.

”Yo, Icey” another troop replied.

”Mara can I talk to you?” Icey asked.

”Yeah, sure. I’ll meet up with you guys later ok?”

”Ok Mara. See ya later.” a friend replied.

The others went in the cafeteria as I stood with Icey in the corridor.

”So, how’s training so far?” he asked.

”Well it sure is interesting. I was in shooting class today. Aqua has a strange way of teaching.”

”His methods are odd but the troops turn out to be very well-trained at the end. And the other classes?”

”Skill class is fun. Honk is a great teacher. I haven’t had combat or psychology class yet.”

”Well then I’m glad to hear you like it her. Now go get some lunch. Aqua probably drained all the energy out of you.”

”He sure did. Anyways, see you later Icey”

I met up with my friends and had lunch. After that I returned to my room. Madi was there. I went to my bed and laid down while I talked to her.

”Hey Madi. What’s up?”

”Not much. The usual boring things. Hey I wanted to ask you. Where did you get that cool snow globe from?”

”Icey gave it to me. It was really nice of him. My dad used to have snow globes like these. He collected them and always brought a new one from his travels.”

”That’s cool. Did you see Chris? That scar came from nowhere. People say he fell somewhere.”

”He didn’t actually…”

”Do you know what happened?”

”You promise you wont tell?”

‘Yes of course.”

”He pissed me off yesterday and I punched him.”

Madi started to laugh.

”Haha that would have been interesting to see. So how come he didn’t tell on you?”

”We got a deal.”

”What deal?”

”Let’s just say I know something Chris doesn’t want anyone else to know.”

Me and Madi talked for a couple of hours. We laughed and told each other stories. It got late so we went to bed. In the morning it was time for another day of training. Today was combat class with Albert. The day seemed cloudy like it was going to rain. Combat class started early so I had to get dressed and go outside. there was a mat in the front yard. I was one of the first to be there and so was Chris.

”Well Chris it looks like our schedules match up. We’re going to see each other often.”

”Yeah…” she said and she didn’t talk anymore.

We started to gather up and so did the clouds. Soon Albert came and started the lesson. Hello troops. I’m Albert second in command and I will be teaching you combat. this si something important you have to learn. I need two volunteers.

”Oh me Alb, pick me please!” Chris yelled as she raised her hand.

”Alright Chris. anyone else?”

There was silence in the crowd for a while.

”Mara how about you?”

”Oh no not Mara.” Chris said quietly.

”Is there a problem Chris?” Alb asked.

”Uh, no. No problem Alb. It’s just she’s a girl and I don’t want to fight a girl.” Chris quickly tought of an excuse not to face me.

”Oh don’t worry Chris. I’ll go easy on you.” I said as I walked forward. The troops laughed. Chris got angry but stayed silent.

Alb was about to explain some things about combat but he was interrupted as Chris charged towards me with an angry yell. She tried to punch me but I blocked with my hand. She kicked and punched and tried to get me back but I blocked again and again. I didn’t want to fight for no reason. After a couple more attempts I grabbed her hands and put them around her back.”

”That’s enough for now you two. Chris that was…agressive. Good job at blocking Mara.”

Chris raged as she freed her hands.

”NO! IT WAS NOT A GOD JOB! She is a CHEATER!” Chris yelled at alb

”What the hell Chris calm down.” I told her.

”NO, I WONT! IT’s over. You see this scar Alb? Mara did this to me, she punched me for no reason.

”Is it true Mara?” Alb asked as he looked at me.

”Yes Albert it is true. But it wasn’t for no reason. Chris I apologise for the punch but you deserved it. You seem very spoiled and someone had to teach you a lesson. But in other news guess what?”

”What?” Chris asked.

”Deal’s OFF!”’ I said as I took off her hat and revealed her long brown messed up hair.

It started raining. I watched Chris as she tried to put her hat back on, but it was too late. Everyone saw her already. The troops we’re surprised.

”Alb look at what Mara did to me. BAN her from the Ice warriors!” Chris started talking in a girly voice.

”Everyone go inside the gym and dry up. I will be there shortly to continue the lesson. Mara come with me.” Alb said with a serious voice.

He looked at Chris and walked away. I followed him as he told me. We went to Icey’s office and we were silent on the way.

”What happened Alb.” Icey said as we walked in.

‘Mara got into a fight with Chris and revealed that he or should I say she is a girl.

”Oh god Chris always brings trouble.” Icey said

”May I explain myself?” I asked looking at Alb.|

”go ahead Mara.” He answered me

”Chris was waiting for me the other day. She kept calling me a noob and talked crap about me. I didn’t even do anything to her and she pissed me off on purpose. I punched her and her hat fell off. I saw that she was a girl. We made a deal. I wouldn’t tell anyone that she is a girl and she wouldn’t tell anyone about the punch. Chris broke her part of the deal so I broke mine as well.

”You punched her?” Icey smiled as he tried to hold his laugh.

”I was aware that Chris is a girl, but she has been such a brat ever since she first got here.” Icey told me.

”Indeed.” Alb agreed.

”Come on Alb. Admit it’s funny that Mara punched Chris.”

”Yes it is actually. Unfortunately as much as I hate to say this. Mara has to be punished. Not because of what she did but because if other troops see her get away with this then they will start fights too. We don’t want that to happen.”

”I will take my punishment.” I said.

”How about extra training?” Icey offered.

”Sounds fair” Alb agreed.

”Alright Mara. You will train with me early in the morning tomorrow before your class. We will meet up in the back yard. For now go to your room. Alb you continue your class. We don’t want Chris and Mara in the same room. Chris will probably do something stupid.” Icey told me and Alb.

”Alright Icey I will be in the back yard tomorrow.”

”You are both dismissed.” Icey said

”See you both soon.” Alb told us as he left the room.

”Bye guys” I left Icey’s office and I was headed to my room.
