Ice Warriors of CP

I went back into my room. As I came in I saw Madi sitting on the bed. She had a hat on for some reason and she looked down as I came in.

”Hey, Madi what’s up?”

”Oh, hi Mara I tought you were at training.”

”Ah well it’s a long story.” I said as I sat in the bed.

Madi looked away.

”Madi, what’s wrong? Why wont you look at me?”

She didn’t say anything.

”Come on you know you can tell me.”

Madi took a deep breath and took her hat off. She had a wound next to her eye.

I was surprised. I stood up with anger.

”Who did this to you?”

”Mara please don’t get yourself in trouble it’s nothing.”

”Nothing? I don’t call that nothing Madi. Now tell me where to find that person.”

”Mara please I can handle this. Please don’t do anything stupid. Sit down.”

I sighed and sat back down on my bed.

”Just promise you will be more carefull ok?” I said with a sad voice.

Madi was my first friend and I didn’t want anything bad to happen to her.

”Now tell me why aren’t you at class?”

”Well remember that deal with Chris?”

”Yeah.”

”Chris broke his or should I say her part and I broke mine.”

”Her?”

”Yes that was the deal. When I hit Chris her hat fell off and I saw her long hair. Chris is a girl. She told everybody about the fight and I told everybody that she is a girl.”

”Wow, that was unexpected. Then what?”

”It started to rain and the others went inside. Alb took me to Icey’s office. They had no choice but to punish me. I have to train with Icey tomorrow morning.”

”Man that sucks. Chris deserved it.”

”Yeah but, hey still tought it was kind of funny.”

”It is.” Madi said laughing

We talked even more for a while. Madi was fun to talk to and she was a good friend. Then the next day came. It was interesting for me to see how I would train with Icey and I had psychology class. I tought this day would be fun, but how could I have known that it would turn out such a disaster. It was a day that changed my life, a day that changed everything, a game changer.

I woke up early in the morning. Madi was gone, but I tought she went for a walk. I quickly got dressed and of course put my scarf on. I quietly walked trough the hallway so I don’t wake the others and went outside to meet up with Icey. He was there waiting for me.

”Hello Icey. I’m here to train.”

”Good you’re in time.”

”So what will it be combat, skill or maybe shooting?”

”Ah well today you will learn something new.”

I was very exited for what he will teach me.

”What is it?”

”You’ll find out soon enough. Now come with me.”

We went to the garage. I saw his motorcycle parked next to something covered with a blanket.

”So Mara, what do you think about motorcycles?”‘ Icey asked me.

”I think they’re cool. Never been on one. I mean except this one. You drove me here with it.”

”Yes this is mine. I made it myself.”

”Oh cool.”

”So you like motorcycles?” Icey asked me once again.

”Yeah.”

”Good because you’re going to like this.” He said as he took the blanked off a dark blue motorcycle. It was with a black seat and black tires.

”Wow, this is so cool.”

”Yes I used parts from LT machines to make it.”

”So it’s your new motorcycle?”

”No, it’s YOUR new motorcycle.”

”What? But I can’t even drive and I can’t take it.”

”That’s today’s lesson. now hop on.”

”Are you sure?”

”Ofcourse, why do you think I made this in the first place?”

”Alright.”

I sat on the motorcycle. I could only think of one word. It was amazing.

”Here are the keys. You use this handle to light it up this is brakes, this is your speed…”

Icey explained everything about the motorcycle carefully. I knew everything about it after that.

”Now it’s time for a test drive.” Icey told me.

”Are you sure, I don’t think I can.”

”Sure you can just follow me.”

Icey sat on his motorcycle and started it. He rushed forward.

”You coming or not?”

I smiled and started my motorcycle. I started driving it. I have never done it before but it felt like I drove a motorcycle my whole life. We drove trough the forest and went trough a lot of paths. We finally reached somewhere and Icey stopped. I stopped as well. It was a hill-side you could see the sun rising. It was beautiful. I didn’t realise we drove for more than 2 hours. Then I saw Madison standing on a rock watching the sun rise.

”Madi, Hi!” I sayed as I waved to her and went closer.

”Hi Mara. What are you doing here?”

”Icey is teaching me how to drive a motorcycle.”

”Hello Madi!” Icey said as he came to her as well.

”Hey Icey. That’s really cool Mara. Glad you’re having fun in ”detention”.

”So what are you doing here?” I asked as I smiled.

”Oh I like to come here every once in a while. IT’s beautiful isn’t it?”

”Yes it is. Want a ride home?”

”Thanks, but I’ll stay here for a while you go back you have class today.”

”Alright Madi! See you at lunch?”

”Sure, see you later Mara, Icey.”

”Bye for now Madi.” Icey said.

Me and Icey drove back home it was really fun and the motorcycle was great. We parked in the garage and I reached to give him back the keys.

”Thanks for the lesson Icey, here are the keys.”

”No, it’s your motorcycle now you can ride it whenever you want.”

”Really? Thank you so much Icey.”

”No problem. Now hurry up and get ready for class.”

”OK, bye Icey!”

I went back home holding the keys. I was really happy. This place finally felt like a home to me and I knew I had a family. I went to my room and got ready for class. Then I went to search for the psychology room. I went to the main hall and saw my friends. Kylex was the fun guy with the black hair and white bandana, Penny was the funny girl wish brown hair and blue gloves, Micahdesara or Mica for short was the serious one with a black scarf and a blue shirt. And finally Snowskitter or just Snow was the cool dramatic one with spiky hair and shorts.

”Hey guys! Good to see you again.”

”Mara, we heard you got into detention was everything ok?” Snow asked looking worried.

”It’s fine Snow it wasn’t that bad.”

”What happened?” Penny asked curiously.

”Well I trained with Icey.”

”What did you train?” Mica asked.

”Well, I kind of know how to drive a motorcycle now.”

”OH WOW! That’s awesome Mara. Can you teach us too?” Kylex said.

”Maybe another day guys. I’ll be happy to, but now we have to get to class.”

”Alright let’s go.” Penny said

We walked together to class. We found the room and walked in. there were pillows in the shape of a circle on the ground and Cece was on one of them. We sat on some of them and waited. Soon more people came and of course Chris was one of them. As she walked in with her hair showing from her hat now she smiled at me with anger in her eyes. I didn’t know what’s going on but class started so I didn’t think about having a conversation with Chris.

”Hello class. I am Cece and this is psychology class. Now I know most of you probably want to go outside and learn how to fight and shoot but this is important as well. If a fellow troops is injured or worried during battle you have to know how to calm him down and help him in need. You have to have peace with each other otherwise you wont be defeated by the enemy but by your friends instead”

Cece was interrupted by Chris.

”Excuse me Cece. Can I ask a question?”

”Yes Chris what is it?”

”What happens if someone hits you and let’s out your secret. What do you have to do in that situation?”

I looked angry at Chris.

”Well in that case you have to tell a higher rank.”

”Oh but that’s boring. How about revenge?”

”That’s not the answer Chris.”

”OH but I think it is.”

”Chris you can’t do anything to me.” I said angry.

”I know Mara, but I can do something to your friends.”

”What do you mean? They’re right here you can’t harm them without passing trough me.”

”Not all of them Mara.” Chris smiled at me.

The anger flew out of me. I stood up, grabbed Chris shirt and pushed her to the wall.”

”What have you done with Madison? TALK!”

”Mara calm down.” Snow said.

”You’re not the only one with friends Mara. I don’t think you will like with what’s about to happen.” Chris said smiling

I threw Chris on the ground. And then Aqua came in.

”Cece we need you in the office now.”

”What is it Aqua?”

”A gun has been stolen and some troops are missing.”

I froze in place. I was afraid and frustrated I hurried out.

”Aqua quick tell Icey to come to the place and hold don’t let Chris out of sight.”

”What the hell is happening, Mara calm down!”

”Aqua, Chris will kill Madison. I have to go NOW!”

I rushed outside and ran as fast as I can. I went to the garage and grabbed my motorcycle. I started it and drove as fast as I can to the hill-side where me Madi and Icey were before. I didn’t stop I didn’t look back I had to hurry before it was too late. I arrived there and I saw Madi and 2 other troops next to her. One of them held a gun.

”MADISON!” I yelled.

”MARA! HELP!” she said with fear in her eyes.

”One step, and your friend dies.” one of the guys said.

I had seen them before to talk to Chris. I had to think fast. Then I saw Icey coming with motorcycles. Cece and Aqua was with him and so were Chris and my friends. Aqua held Chris hand behind her back.

”Don’t do anything stupid troops. Let the gun go.” Icey said.

”Do it DO IT NOW YOU IDIOTS!” Chris yelled.

I turned around and charged at Chris. I hit her with all my strength. And then…I heard a gun shot. I turned around and saw Madi shot in the chest.

”NOOO!” I screamed.

I went to the guy with the gun took it from him and pushed him to the ground. The other guy attacked me but I hit him and pushed him as well. Cece and Icey held them. I stood on the ground and watched Madi die.

”No, Madi hang on you’re going to be fine ok? Nothing is going to happen we’re, we’re just going to take you back and…you’ll be fine. IT’s my fault I’m so sorry I’m so very sorry.” I said crying.

”Mara…It’s not your fault. Take care of yourself ok? I’ll be with you always.” Madi said as she could barely speak

”You are a great friend.” Madison said with her last breath as she closed her eyes.

”NO! MADISON! NO DON’T PLEASE.NOO!” I cried as I was on my knees.

Snow, Penny, Kylex and Mica came to me. They hugged me and stood next to me for a while. No one said anything, Icey, Cece and Aqua stood silently. Chris was knocked out. And I stood and cried.
