The Tale Of Mara (PART 12)

I woke up early in the morning. I quickly put my dark blue t-shirt on, some jeans and of course my scarf. I brushed my short dark blonde hair and went out. I reached a door and knocked on it loudly

“Lion wake up you lazy meatball.”

”Five more minutes Mara.” Lion said from inside with a sleepy voice.

”Two.” I said smiling.

I continued down the hallway and met up with Icey.

”Hallo Icey. I have to start with my schedule. Aqua needs parts, I need training and troops need more weapons for training.”

”Aren’t you forgetting something Mara?”

”Forgetting…No, nothing else in my schedule.”

”It’s been 1 month since you joined Ice Warriors Mara.”

”Ah right and also 1 month left to prepare for the attack.”

”Indeed and you’re doing a great job.”

”Thanks. Have to go busy day.” I said as I hurried up to the front yard.

I met up with our brand new owner Jojo. He was promoted and he was a great owner. Jojo helped out with making weapons.

”Hey Jojo how are the guns going?”

”Just fine. Mara I added some extras to your fighting stick. It has pure metal ends and a stronger handle so you can easily use it without it slipping out of your hand.”

”Thanks Jojo you’re the best.”

After that I saw Aqua.

”Hello Aqua. How’s your secret project going.”

”Good.”

”When are you going to tell us what it is anyway?”

”When the time comes. Don’t you have work to do?”

”Yes I do. See ya later Mr. Grumpy face.”

I went to the workshop and started working on some weapons. I made sticks, axes, hammers all you can think of. I had learned so much for 1 month I couldn’t believe it. As I worked Alb walked in.

”How’s it going Mara?”

”Great just finishing some weapons.”

”Icey needs us at his office. you’ll have to leave the weapons for later.”

”Ok on my way.”

I let go of the sword I was sharpening and I was headed for Icey’s office. When I walked in Jojo and Alb were standing in front of Icey.

”Mara come in. We have to talk.” Icey told me.

”OK I didn’t punch anyone I swear.” I said with a worried voice.

”No it’s not anything like that Mara. I’m sending you on a mission.”

”What kind of mission?” Jojo asked.

”I send some troops to spy on a near by passing Death Tank. It’s attacking a village with innocent people. our mission is to stop it, grab all the things we can use from it and save the people.”

”But why us exactly? ” I asked.

”I need the people that can ride motorcycles. Death tank is coming in fast and we can’t risk loosing it by walking. We don’t need a lot of people. Aqua can ride a motorcycle as well but someone has to stay in charge while we’re gone.”

”Did you say ‘our’ mission? ” Alb stated.

”Indeed Alb. I’m coming with you. The death thanks is a horrible machine. It can destroy anything in it’s path,” Icey said as he took out a picture of a Death Tank.

It was big black and had yellow lightning stripes. It has a big gun on the front and a rocket on each side. On the front there were machine guns and the entrance was on the back side.

”Mara you neutralise the Lt, Alb you take down the machine guns, Jojo take the big gun and I’ll go inside and neutralise it. Understood?”

”Yes Sir.” we said in one voice.

We walked out and went to the garage for our motorcycles. Aqua was there as always.

”Aqua we have to go do some work, you’re in charge while we’re gone.” Icey said

”Alright, well this will be fun.”

”Don’t torture the troops Aqua.” Alb said.

”I won’t…too much.”

We sat on our motorcycles and drove away. Icey was leading us to where we had to go. We drove to a big empty village with nothing but houses and a road. We hid behind a big rock formation and waited. Soon you could hear the death tank approaching. the ground rumbles and there was a horrible noise. It came from the other side of the road. It stopped and 3 Light troops coming out.

”Wait for it….wait for it.” Icey told us.

The tension was building as I got my motorcycle ready Icey yelled.

”NOW!”

We drove as fast as we can towards the death tank. there was a LT inside and he started shooting at us with the machine guns. We split in different directions. the other LT were trying to go back in but I was headed towards them with full speed. I took my stick and hit 2 of them. I quickly hit the brakes and turned around. As one LT was about to shoot me I jumped at him, took his weapon and knocked him out with my stick. They were down. In the mean time Jojo took down the big gun as he shoved a big rock inside it. Alb took down the machine guns by making them shoot against each other. Icey got in the death tank and neutralised it. Soon we all cheered.

”That was AWESOME guys good job.” I said.

Unfortunately we noticed a 4th LT coming out of a house. He was holding 2 kids that looked my age. They were a boy and a girl and they were scared to death.

”You KIDS think you can take down a LT tank and get away with it. Now these kids will pay for what you’ve done.”

”LET THEM GO!” Alb said as he pointed a gun towards him.

”Go ahead shoot me and the kids die.” the LT said pointing a gun to their heads.

He didn’t seem to notice me. He was concentrated on Alb, Icey and Jojo. I tried to bed as quiet as possible and snuck behind the house. Luckily there was a back entrance so I quickly walked to the front door.

”Now these kids die. 1…2….” the LT was saying.

”NO!” Icey screamed.

I knocked out the LT from behind just as he was about to say 3. He fell as the kids were safe.

”Great thinking Mara.” Alb said.

”Um..thanks.” the girl said.

”Ya..thanks” the boy said as well.

”One question though.” the girl spoke again.

”Who the hell are you?”

Haha that’s right my sexy chickens you get a cliffhanger >=D. Anyways, this was exciting. A time-lapse, new characters,more action and finally you see what Mara looks like in the story. Now I know what you’re thinking.
”OH MI GUSH WHU ARE DESE 2 NEW CHARICTIRS IN DI StORI PLZZ TEL US MARU.”
Well you’ll have to find out in part 13 ooooooooh.
