IW’s Survival Guide: Dos and Dont’s [Please read]

[Keep this sticky until 9/18/13. Thank you]

Topic: Dos and Don’t s

I’m sure you guys are expecting some cliche post about common sense and obvious rules. But I’ve been noticing people lacking common sense, or knowledge of these rules. So I decided to make a helpful post to survive the Ice Warriors and utter humiliation.

Do: Be a helpful troop. If somebody is asking  a question about anything related to tactics or something, please try your best to answer it.

Don’t: Be a bully. Bullying is wrong and unacceptable. How do you like it if you’re being bullied? Treat others like you want to be treated. Or Tes will poop on you!

Do: Attend events. Seriously, it’s not that bad. Otherwise, I may have to send you to the corner.

Don’t: Postpone homework, or you won’t be able to attend events because you need to do your homework. Save yourself the trouble and do it earlier.

Do: Listen to orders, and try to do them efficiently and productively. The less you listen, the more people will gossip about you.

Don’t: Attempt to take control because you’ll look stupid and nobody will pay attention, instead, wait until your time is right, like at owner rank or possibly moderator rank.

Do: Report any foolish behavior, abusers, etc. Also report any sightings of the elusive Potato King.

Don’t: Be one of those foolish people who break the rules because they think they’re so cool. How about doing that in real life? See where that takes you. Breaking rules has no purpose, therefore any attempts to do this is plain old dumb.

Do: Work hard for your rank. Do not be those people who begs. Promotion day is at the end of the month. If you have any questions, please ask an owner.

Don’t: Beg to be an owner or a moderator, that’s annoying for everyone. Besides, you have to earn it like anybody else. Unless you bribe me, if you know what I mean?

Don’t try this.

Do: Be active, and actually come on chat. If you comment on the active count and you only log on once a month. You have defied the point of being in an army. You join, and you have to attend. Not all events, just some. If you are busy, please let owners know. Otherwise, we’ll think you’re being lazy.

Don’t: Try to do anything for other armies like “spying”, or “double crossing” because they don’t do much or help both sides. Just stay committed one army. However, if you have to choose between one side or the other, if we are practice battling an army you’re in. Choose us or you’re fired! I’m just joking.

Do: Be rational and reasonable. Always be logical. Unless it’s math, then who cares!

Don’t: Start going all crazy on chat like spamming or swearing. Follow the chat rules. We have rules for a reason. To keep things in order. Without them, the chat will go crazy, and we will be in utter chaos. Please don’t talk like you’re a 8 year old. We are not toddlers, we are human beings who don’t need to speak with a hyperactive 11 year old. We are here to be an army and try our best to become the best army there is.

Thank You for reading the Dos and Don’t s. I hope these clear up anything, or address any issues I’m seeing. If you are one of these people who do the don’t s, do not keep encouraging that behavior.
