Ice Warriors of CP

Hello Ice Warriors, 

 The time has finally come, it is time for me to move on. Hopefully this post will explain to those of you who don’t know why I am retiring why exactly I am making this move. No, it has no corrolation with the recent events in IW (fake coups, tournament loss, etc.). If none of those things happened I would still be sitting here writing this post. This post will include: my reasons for retirement, my history in armies, army pics, funny pics, and mentions. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tale of Bearsboy10.

Reasons for Retirement: Ok so this is noone’s fault or anything. To be honest, I just dont find cp armies worthwhile or entertaining anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I love to come on xat and talk with everyone and I will continue to do so once I retire. I just don’t like having my life revolve around my cp army events and having to be on hours before events to make sure troops come on chat for events. I am getting kind of busy and can no longer support an army anymore. I don’t want IW to struggle with me only attending 1 or 2 events a week. I want IW to flourish under new leaders with a new outlook for the army. Don’t worry, IW will be fine 😉 I will still be around and attend events too, so you will be seeing plently of me. A part of me doesn’t want to see the IW aspect of my life disappear, but another part of me knows its the right thing to do.

My History In Armies: I started playing CP from a friend whom was playing when I went to his house. I joined cp in around August-October 2008. I don’t remember exactly when. A few of my IRL friends joined and we would all meet up on Fjord after school. Of those friends Surferboysc (Ben) was one of the most active on cp and we would talk about it together. I soon moved to Sleet and my friends there kept telling me to “search meyankeesfan chat” (Meyankeefan4 was my friend on cp and owned a xat chat). After days of this I finally found his xat chat and showed Ben. He must have explored cp chats and gotten recruited by Iceyfeet. He was so thrilled to join Ice Warriors and told me IRL. I went to his house and he showed me the site and chat. I ran home and joined for myself. I was a complete noob on IW chat for about a year and 3 months. My day would consist of battling non-stop on cp and private chatting Iceyfeet (I annoyed the hell out of him). In about May 2009 Ben showed me another army called CPST (Club Penguin Sun Troops) created by fellow Ice Warriors, Sklooperis and Hampton4life. I joined for 4ic and over the next few months rose to a very incompetent 2ic.

CPST grew to the 7th largest army and merged with Golden Warriors to form the Golden Troopers. The merge bumped me down to 3ic (which I was not happy about) but I had quit IW and GT was my favorite army. This is also where my innoncence was ruined (shoutouts to all the GT Generation 1ers). Over that summer (2010) my life became busy due to IRL problems and I got bored of CP as I entered middle school so I went awol until August 2012.

The long, boring days that are summer. Summer 2012 still had a month left and I was bored out of my mind. Xbox was no longer appealing to me as COD (my life for the past few years) was beinning to become complete and utter garbage. I remembered about the online games I used to play so I gave it a try. I remembered my password from Pandanda (closed game cring) so I got on and started to complete quests day in and day out. After a week of that I remembered about Club Penguin and got my password. I played this for the next few weeks and saw a few of my old friends on there. I then remembered Ice Warriors (lots of remembering) so I got the pass to my xat account back and went on. A gen of GT had just died so I decided to rejoin Ice Warriors as a rank of Warrant Officer. I was really dumb and nooby at first due to the fact that I had to relearn everything about armies. As in before I thought only IW, ACP, Nachos, and GT/CPST existed. I didn’t learn about CPAC until January or Febuary 2013 :p . When I rejoined Ice Warriors we were at war with none other than the Light Troops. I spent a lot of time yelling at Ioio for being a noob during that war…

After a month or so in IW I earned mod and shot up the mod ranks to top mod. Also, I rejoined the final gen of GT for a member rank in December 2012. I spent my winter break staying up with my newly reunited GT Gen1 crew. Everynight was filled with jokes and nostalgia. This is also where met my accomplice for the next 7 months or so, Dudex219. We instantly became friends with our similar humor and hate for LT. We would go on and jbomb their events and have a blast with some of the GT newbies. After about another month of this Dx and Monster remade the HSA. I was very curious about this army so I joined as 4ic. Coff was supposed to be the 3rd leader, but he couldn’t due to ST. Mon chose me to be the 3rd and final HSA leader and I jumped at the offer. I was so thrilled to finally be leading an army. I spent all day chat recruiting for HSA and we were soon getting sizes of 15+. In one of our first events we even beat the ACP! For the first few months of HSA we stayed around the 6th and 7th spot in the top ten. We won many wars during this period including ones against AR, LT, and DCP. Just about immediatly after the LT war we started to hit record sizes and tied the Nachos for 1st. We stayed in the top three for a few more weeks and allied up against the ACP in a brutal beatdown and concluded couping of ACP Leader, Kingfunks4. After this war, we were thirsty for first. Stopping at nothing short of first we all recruited and finally, finally knocked the Nachos off at 24 week streak of first place. The taste of the top was so sweet. We stayed there for almost a month but then we saw Nachos would rebuild and Dx and the blood thirsty troops wanted to knock Nachos down permanantly. We engaged in a war full of hate (mainly between Edd and Dx). After a few weeks of battles Dx retired and everyone gave up hope in the war effort. I had to surrender for the better of HSA and during the attempts to rebuild the plug got pulled on HSA.

After HSA was gone and done with I took a few weeks of rest from leading. After months of recruiting and engaging in almost non-stop war it was time to stop for a bit. But then, an idea sparked in my head. I saw that HSA’s longtime brother ally, the Dark Warriors, were struggling under a new leadership. I pitched the idea to save DW to Dx and he was able to get SaW and xiunknown to give us leader. Within weeks we became a world power challenging once again, the Nachos for first place. We had a tournament semi-final up against them coming up so we jumped at the idea to knock them down. We did end up just ousting the Nachos in the tournament and they got super mad and started to threat the Dark Warriors with war. The next day I woke up and checked my wordpress app to see none other then (guess who) the Nachos declared war on the Dark Warriors along with the Water Vikings and AR. On DW chat we came up with a plan to take them out one by one: Wv, AR, then Nachos for our big finale. We ending up crushing Wv and sent them into a bit of a struggle throughout the next few month, but we never battled AR or Nachos since the war ended. Soon Dx, Crazy and I retired from DW and they began a new age under Freezie66 and Donut6789.

On to my finale, the Ice Warriors. I took about a month off of leading in preperation for IW. Icey taught me many things about leading and being an effective solo leader. I learned many new things from him and I still use the things he taught me in my everyday leading business. On September 1st, I took the reigns of IW into my hands and paved a new way. For the first few months of my leadership I could only be on for weekend events due to sports. I used the time that I wasn’t on to recruit a new generation of troops into IW from cp. In November, once I was free again. We decided to invade old servers for a month. Our weekday sizes began to be great again. We even hit 30-40 on a few weekdays. In December, we ended our server invasions and declared war on LT over winter break. We were hitting sizes of 30-35 every weekday and hit sizes of 45+ TWICE at the Christmas Chaos tournament. It was a very fun month with you guys. This brings us to January. We still hit 40+ twice in this month at the Champions tournament without Iceyfeet there. We were starting to prove that IW can be big without Icey at an event. Unfourtunatley, this is where my story ends. I’m sure that many new ones are about to begin both in IW with Tes and Ben and with my life outside of Cp Armies.

Albert417: You kept IW alive in isolationism for a damn long time. Probably a cp army record which is remarkable. Not many people can keep troops engaged in an army without war. 

Mch: You are a very, very nice person. You are good at keeping your composure no matter what the situation and you are great with new troops! 

Nickle: However crazy or stupid you may try to make things, you keep IW fresh and fun. 

Lion P: Best UK/AUS hybrid leader out there. You have stuck with IW forever man. You were 4ic when I just rejoined. 

Funks: A key part in the Lion/Funks UK duo. When you hopped aboard IW you reignited our UK force. I am forever thankful for that. 

Raven: You have the potential to lead one of the few and best AUS forces in the community. You should try to jump at that opportunity. 

I don’t have time to mention every so I will name troops that stick out to me in a good way.

Freezie66-Puckley of DW, Great leader and a hilarious chill guy

Crazy186- A true DW Legend, You are a great friend yet you are such a good leader at such a young age!! If you can stick with armies you will no doubt become a CPAC Legend

Spi101- The final piece in the puzzle to get DW 1st for a few weeks. You can really recruit man. We also had fun in IW together.

Subster- Loyal DW troop, one of my best recruits. You deserve everything you have earned in both HSA and DW.

Pufpuf103- Man, getting couped sucks. Don’t take it personally though because you no doubt kept DW together for the majority of 2013.

To the troops of IW: While it may seem I am simply stepping out on you, I can assure you I am not. I will still be around to help when needed and to interact with you the troops. Ofcourse it will seem like a part of my life is missing because CP armies are a big part of my life (sadly). I will miss you all and I mean that with all my heart. Remember to still come on to talk to me though! Remember, Ice Warriors never give up faith.
