Well, I have done it once before, Right?
Hey Ice Warriors, thought you’d never hear from me again eh? Well, I’ve rejoined IW again and I’m happy to say that I will be continuing a new IW story series, and some of you might remember it as it was from 2012 called “Operation Sub Zero.” Well, I absolutely sucked at writing stories at that given moment, but as time progressed I’ve improved and here I am to tell you all a great story that will shock you, amaze you, and give you a couple laughs or giggles along the way. I will be posting 2 chapters a week, on every Wednesday and Saturday, I hope you all enjoy.
DISCLAIMER: THIS STORY IS NOT MEANT FOR CHILDREN WITH SQUEAMISH STOMACHES SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Without further adieu, here it is.
Introduction:
Being in the Ice Warriors is like, well, there isn’t much to describe it. You live a good life, you’re pretty happy while you’re in it, I mean, that is, when you’re waking up at 4 a.m on a Saturday evening, well, it isn’t very pleasant, but you get used to it after a while. We aren’t very used to war, I mean, if every day of your life was spent training in the rain and getting shot at by crazed teachers *Guiltiness Charged*, well, you wouldn’t expect it. It was an odd thing at the time, but we were prepared for it. We were ready to take them down. But before I get to all of that, let me introduce myself.
I’m Aquabluejet. Former IW 2ic, you remember? Well, I once wrote a 10 journal story on my life during the Black Alliance war. I never finished it, but that isn’t important. This is a journal on my experiences in another recent war, and how things have progressed from there.
*Disclaimer*
This story is not based upon fact, but is based upon fictional events that had never happened, and this is by no means an attempt to create conflict between other armies, so please, if your army is mentioned in this and you get offended, don’t, because this is all fiction, though names and some historic battles/testimonies may possibly be used.

Chapter 1:
“Rise and shine, Aqua” Icey says, holding the curtains to the windows so the sunlight gets in. I nearly immediately shield my eyes.
“God, five more minutes will you, Icey?” I say, putting the sheets over my head.
“Listen, I let you sleep in at the 4 am training, its 8 am, get your ass up and your head in shape, you didn’t rejoin so you could slack, right?”
“Whatever.”
“Get down to the training center in 10 minutes or you’re fired. Good luck!” Icey says, dashing out the window so he isn’t late. It’d put a bad impression on the troops if he were late for our grand returning. A lot of the old IW Retirees were coming back to IW for some important event that Icey gathered. He hasn’t shared the details with most of us, but I’m sure he’d told Bears, Ben, Tes, and Albert about it.
“Ugh.” I moan to myself. I was still in my pajamas, so I get up and walk to the temporary closet where all my stuff is in. There isn’t much in it, since I just moved in, and I’m not exactly the richest of people, so I don’t have alot. I take out my signature blue hoodie and khakis, and throw them on top of my pajamas. I also put on my bullet proof vest, in case something happens while were at training. I take off my bunny slippers (Don’t Judge), and throw on my sneakers. I began to Β walk into the small kitchen located next to my room, and I find a conveniently placed coffee mug that has a sun on it with a smiley face that says “Rise and Shine cupcake!” Gord got it for me on my 17th Birthday. Icey had made me coffee, and I thanked him silently in my mind for that. I began to sip my coffee, then sat down on the rugged, dusty couch which hadn’t been touched in probably years. The room itself hadn’t been touched in years, and the TV in the living space was one of those bulky ones which still had the tape recorder slots in them. In other words, it was an old room. I take a moment to breathe in the atmosphere, but get a face full of dust. I decide it’d be best for me to get out of the room as quick as possible to avoid anything else bugging the living crap out of me. I open the door slowly, and begin to walk down the hall toward the “DO NOT ENTER, PERSONNEL ONLY” room. I get the key out of my pocket, and unlock the door, then step in the room. Aside from my room, this room is filled with high technology, only meant for owners or retired veterans to see, like myself. I walk to the gun rack, and pick up my specialized weapons. I’m a medic, so my job is to lug around a close range weapon, I prefer a spas-12 or a double barrel, or really any form of shotgun, and required by all Ice Warrior procedures, a browning m1910 pistol. I also kept a hand-carved pocket knife in-case I had to cut myself free from a situation or slash at an enemies neck.
I then realize something, something I was so stupid for not realizing.
It was 7:56
I had four minutes to get to training.
“Not again…” I groan, picking up my shotgun from the wall and bursting out the door. I run down the hall and turn a sharp corner, when I accidentally bump into a troop on my way.
“Sorry, it was my fault. I wasnt looking.” I say, apologetically.
“It’s fine. I’m not needed for a while anyway.” The girl says, when I noticed who it was. It was Alicia, a girl I hadn’t seen for a year, as both of us retired together and never really spoke to one another since.
“Alicia?” I ask, questionable to whether or not it was her.
“Oh, its you Aqua. I’ts been quite a long while, wouldn’t you say?”
“Yeah, it has been. It’s good to see you again. But listen I’ve got to go to practice, but we’ll catch up later, k?”
“Abrupt and rude. You never change do you, Aqua?”
“That’s just my personality. Catch you later!” I say, as I begin again to run to the training grounds. Alicia waves me goodbye, and I make my way outside. I look down at my watch and see that I’ve only got 2 minutes left. I start sprinting on the sidewalk, trying to avoid civillians and troops alike who are as rushed as I am. I’m a pretty fast runner, not as fast as I used to, but still can sprint quite fast. I could probably run laps around the young IW troops of today, but I’m not a person to brag.
On second thought, I am.
I make it to the training grounds with a minute to spare, panting and nearly out of breath. When you haven’t gone through that kind of running for ages, it really sucks to run, especially when you’re trying to avoid tons of rushing IW soldiers. Once I make it to the training grounds, Icey begins to announce what were going to do.
“Alright troops, I’m sure you all know me as being the Ice Warriors creator, Iceyfeet1234, and you probably also know these veterans standing before us, Albert417, Bearsboy10, Aquabluejet, Gill, Gordy, and a couple other of our vets. We’ve all returned for a special reason, which I will announce soon. But, in honor of our return, we are going to treat you guys to an extra long training event. Hope you guys enjoy! Sixteen laps around the track. GO!!!” Icey shouts. I moan, alongside the hundreds of other troops who are in agony.
I begin to run, and Gordy jogs up to my side and says into my ear “Welcome back, Cupcake.”
That’s how I knew that this wasn’t going to be some small announcement that Icey had in store for us.

Just so you know, I can’t run. I walk. My weight makes it difficult for me to run and I’m only 150lbs.
