Ice Warriors of CP

Hello Ice Warriors,

You know some days I am extremely proud and glad I am an Ice Warrior….. Today isn’t one of those days though.

I log on other army chats and usually see troops chatting, joking, and having fun. I log on our chat and I either see a dead/empty chat, troops fighting, or troops breaking rules.

I go on other army chats during events and I see troops listening, focused, and following orders. I go on our chat during an event and I see troops refusing to log on, logging off, being afk, not doing the tactics, and complaining about this event and how these 30 minutes take up so much of your life.

When I see armies ask troops to recruit a little bit every day or once every few days, troops are usually excited. They want to help their army. When I ask almost anyone to recruit they complain. “It is soooo hard” “I don’t see the point in recruiting” “recruiting is pointless, I haven’t recruited once and I still get promotions.” “Recruiting doesn’t even help”

I realize I haven’t been a perfect leader. I was inactive this week and last week, and I know there are things I can improve on. At least I try though. I try to recruit, I try to attend events, I try to do my job as leader. I want IW to be the best it can be and I want us to finally stabilize and become consistent. We have one good week and everyone thinks the next week is vacation or holiday and they can slack off and do what they want. If you want this army to improve you need to work. It takes work to become the best. I’m not asking you to give up your life and commit completely to this. What I am asking is to at least spare a little bit of your time to help this army. I can’t make an army rise by myself. An army is a group, and we need to start acting like one.

I am disappointed with our inability to work together and be an army… a team… a family.

I see fights happening within IW often, way too often. I log on chat to see people arguing, fighting, insulting each other, and more. I just do not understand why though.

I know you will not love everyone here, I know that you will find some people you absolutely hate, and I know we will not all like each other. That is not what I expect though. I want our army to work together to achieve success and be the best army we can be. We cannot do that if mods are yelling at each other at events, owners are abusing, and members complain about every little thing.

IW can achieve great things if we all work together. If we all recruit, attend events, accept each other, work together, come up with ideas, and try to benefit the army.

I joined IW not because it was the most powerful army around, not because Icey or Alb were the best leaders, but instead because I loved the people in the army. IW is an amazing army with an amazing variety of people who could all work together, for the most part, and could all come together to try to make IW the best it could be- or at least we were.

Now IW is full of arguing, insults, and fighting. It is surely not everyone and it is not all the time. However there should rarely be fighting. I understand sometimes you do not like someone and I understand that you just want to prove them wrong or show them you are better than them. We all need to put our egos aside though, and work together. Right now IW has a lot of things we ALL need to work on. We ALL need to recruit. We ALL need to attend events, and we ALL need to work together.

I currently am working on a lot of new ideas for this army. Ways to make the army more fun. The only way we can begin to have fun and be a better army is to work hard, care for the army, and accept each other and be a FAMILY.

I’d like to ask that you comment things YOU will be doing to help IW. You don’t NEED to, but I’d appreciate it if you did. Any other feedback you’d like to share you are welcome to comment too.
