Hey Ice Warriors,

Some of you may have noticed I haven’t been on Xat much for the past couple weeks. Now the time I was gone from Wednesday to Sunday was because I got busy. One of those days though (Friday) I decided to make an undercover report on how the army dealt with new recruits and other challenges.

I entered chat at 4:02pm EST, and it took a total of 5 minutes for someone to even member me, despite it being a very lively chat with many owners on and chatting but simply ignoring me. Then it took me multiple attempts to get someone to give me join info. Finally Cori replied and even answered my questions in PC. While I was on though another guest stayed as a guest for over 20 minutes even with me being membered while he was on.
There was also a lot of swearing going on while i was on the chat with no punishment given to the people swearing. People who I thought could enforce rules apparently only attempt to enforce them while I am there or don’t bother at all. Some of the people talking to the people swearing but did not kick them include Cece, Loot, Berba and Will. All highly ranked troops who I thought I could trust. I even questioned if swearing was allowed and I was then told no. When I asked why Seig was allowed to swear nobody replied and did not kick him.
After all this I decided I’d PC people on chat asking question that new troops usually ask. First I came across the issue of not being able to PC Loot or Gtu to ask for help. I’d like to ask that the owners turn off nopc and nopm so troops may PC you to ask questions. I then asked Cece who gave very poor answers. When I asked “What are events?” she said “they are planned things”. When I asked “what do you mean by things?” she said “its hard to explain”.
After Loot came came back from AFK I asked him countless times to PC me while he was talking but I got no PC from him. While this was happening a new recruit came on chat and asked to join probably 15 times before she got fed up and swore while stating she was just going to leave because she was being ignored. She was immediately banned, yet while others swore they were not. This showed just how bias our mods and owners are. They will ban an unknown troop without telling them rules or giving them warning or helping them join or PCing them to ask them to come back. Yet when a person who comes on here oftenly and knows the rules swears they receive no punishment. This is the point in which I became ashamed of the people on chat, except for Cori who was the only helpful person on at that time. This wasn’t just people on the chat though, this is what most of you would have done and it is shameful.
Once I started PCing more people I found that some people are helpful only when the recruit comes to you. Which is better than others who were very rude or not helpful. Jo for example was very helpful once I PC’d him asking what this place was. He replied very nicely and in a way the excites people to make them want to join. Others like Sam, who I am usually very impressed with when I am on and he is dealing with troops, did not help at all really. Worst though, Oregan a higher ranked troop than Sam didn’t even bother replying. Despite him talking on chat very actively. Some people didn’t reply once I pc’d them but were talking on chat like Chris and Berba. It also took me multiple attempts to get Gtu PC me, and once he did his answers just seemed very dull like he was using a script.
I can understand people being AFK and not replying, but the people who didn’t reply were talking on chat.I can understand people not kicking for every swear word, but they didn’t kick for any swear words while I was on except for a new troop.
I then decided to talk on main chat to get a feel for the environment of our chat and how it seems to a new troop. At the time they were having a trivia that was being hosted by Oregan. While I was trying to talk I noticed some bullying, even if it was some small bullying it was still bullying. People also talked about inappropriate things that would scare away a new troop. Despite Jo being very nice in PC he swore oftenly on main. At this point I got bored of “investigating” and left to go to baseball practice.

What does this report show?

This report revealed that we handle new troops very poorly, which is terrible. We need troops to join for our army to be successful and other people deserve to experience this community. This report also showed that highly ranked troops need to start enforcing the rules even when I am not there. While I was on I seen many rules being broken and no punishments being given. There will be punishments to a few people who did very very poorly on this report/test. There will also be given rewards to the few troops that did do well, like Cori or Abby.

Despite Berba talking on chat he did not feel it was needed to help a new recruit join the army.
