The wait is finally over! The Sled Racer app has been updated on iOS and also been released on Android. The version of both apps is version 1.2. + Today Club Penguin has given their homepage a new look. It’s not a complete redesign by any means, but there are a few notable changes. + There are two new Sled Racer videos on Club Penguin’s YouTube channel, one of which is unlisted for some reason. In this update there are leaderboards, power-ups, and more. Power-ups are free for members but cost $1.99 each for non-members:

What’s New:

ALL NEW leaderboard, power-ups, and more!

Players can compete with their friends’ high scores

Members have instant access to all power-ups to boost their race

Free players can purchase power-ups to boost their race

So far the Sled Racer app has been downloaded over 2 million times on iOS since its release.

The play now button is a little more shiny, the homepage slide buttons are moved and given a different look, the little “ads” under the slides are now down a little, and in the footer there is a big language select button, a puffle print, and snow on the bottom left.
