On April 3 2009, the first annual (although it is not annual anymore) Penguin Play Awards winners were announced. There was also a new clothing catalogue and more snow sculptures were added to the island for the Snow Sculpture Showcase. In 2014, there was a new clothing catalog, a new pin, Battle of the Ancient Shadows returned to the stage, Rockhopper was closer in the telescope, the postcards were updated, there was a new login and logoff screen, and a new magazine issue was released in the UK. Grab your pitchforks, Polo Field has announced the Frozen Fever Party on the Club Penguin Blog and if you visit clubpenguin.com on a mobile device such as a phone or tablet; you will see that at the top of the page there is a mention of Frozen. The text says “experience the magic of Disney’s Frozen in Club Penguin April 23 – May 20.” That’s quite a long time period, assuming it’s not a typo… Although I’m not sure how they would make a typo like that. Along with Club Penguin’s updates this week such as the new newspaper and new pin, there are also a few minor updates. They’ve added a cool new login screen showing the island and saying welcome. +It looks like we’re slowly making our way towards pointless EPF messages again.

The wait is finally over! The Sled Racer app has been updated on iOS and also been released on Android. The version of both apps is version 1.2. + Today Club Penguin has given their homepage a new look. It’s not a complete redesign by any means, but there are a few notable changes. + There are two new Sled Racer videos on Club Penguin’s YouTube channel, one of which is unlisted for some reason. Updates on the 1st of April have occurred in 2002! On the first of April in 2002 the Christmas Party was released. The free items at it were for only nonmembers, meaning members couldn’t get anything! The items were a tin can and oh wait, April Fools! On the real 1st of April there were updates in 2010 and 2011.
