Ice Warriors of CP

As I stood on the ground I couldn’t stop crying. Then I noticed a hand on my shoulder. It was Icey’s hand.

”It’s going to be alright Mara.” That’s the only thing he said.

I stood up on my feet and wiped my tears. Chris was getting up. She tried to run away. I quickly ran to her and knocked her on the ground. I picked her up again and punched her. I smashed her to a tree and was about to hit her again when I was interrupted.

”Mara! that’s enough. Do you want to have revenge and be like her. Or do you want to do what’s right?” Alb said as he stood behind me.

I looked at Chris with anger and saw the fear in her eyes. I calmed down and threw her on the ground. I walked away and went on my motorcycle. I needed to be alone for a while. I drove away to base. I parked my motorcycle. And I went to my room. I stayed for a while and looked at Madi’s bed. I realised how empty it was. I laid down. After half an hour I stood up and looked out the window. I saw the owners lined up. Chris and his friends were with them. I went outside and as I walked out I heard Icey talking.

”You 3 are BANNED from this place. You are forbidden to get close to this base and you shall never have anything to do with the Ice Warriors EVER again. This is a disgrace. We gave you a home, a family and ou KILL a member of this group. Go now and never turn back.”

”Alb please you can’t do this to me. I thought we were friends.” Chris said with a sad look.

Alb stood in silence as he looked at Chris. I walked closer to the owners.

”YOU!” Chris came towards me but her 2 friends held her.

”YOU did this to me. You RUINED me! You will pay for this Mara, YOU WILL PAY!

”Chris you ruined yourself. I have nothing else to say to you.” I said.

The 3 of them walked away far into he forest unill we couldn’t see them anymore. A few hours later there was a funeral. Madi was berried and there was a grave in her honor. We stood there silently. Some troops placed flowers others just looked at the grave, and there were those who cried. Then everyone started going back to base. Honk stood next to me.

”Madi was a good friend. It’s going to be alright sport.” He told me.

”I’m sorry Mara. Everything will be fine.” Cece said.

” You can come to my office when you’re ready here Mara.” Icey said as he left.

I stayed for a while and put a flower on Madi’s grave. Then I walked back to base. I went to Icey’s office.

”Hello Icey. You wanted to talk?”

”Yes. I wanted to say that I’m sorry. I should have prevented this from happening. I should have stopped it. I…”

”It’s not your fault Icey.”

”It is. I’m the leader I should control my troops and not let them do things like these. I wanted to tell you that you can stop you’re training if you want to. You went trough a lot and it’s just your first week here.”

”No Icey I will continue my training. I can train so I can stop things like this from happening. For my dad and for Madi.”

We got interrupted by Alb rushing in the room.

”Icey we have a problem.” He said with a nervous voice.

”What is it Alb?” Icey asked as he stood up.

”Gordy, he’s back.”

”Isn’t that good news?”

”He barely came back. He’s beat up and in the infirmary right now. He wants to see you.”

Icey stood up and went with Alb.

”Icey can I help?” I asked.

”Stay here Mara.” he told me.

I didn’t listen and followed him. He and Alb went inside the infirmary. I listened through the door.

”Gordy, what happened?” Icey asked.

”They found us, they tortured us. I got away but Gill is still captured. I tried to help him but I needed to come here to tell you guys.”

”It’s ok Gordy we will rescue Gill.” Icey said.

”No that’s not it. They tortured us Icey. You don’t understand it was horrible…”

”It’s over now Gordy you’re ok.” Alb said.

”Alb…they know where we are. And they’re planning to attack us, get all the troops and turn them into LT soldiers.”

Noone said anything for a while then Icey asked Gordy.

”Gordy do you know how long there is untill the attack?”

”Yes, they’re fighting with the rebels right now. The ACP. We aren’t their top priority.”

”The ACP? So they are real.” Alb said.

”If I understood correctly. We have 2 months untill they can send an army.” Gordy said.

Icey walked out the door. Alb and him saw me.

”How long have you been standing there Mara?” Alb asked.

”Throughout the whole conversation.” I answered looking down at the ground.

”Did you hear everything Mara?”

”Um..yes but.”

”Good. Now both of you come with me, we need a meeting. Gather up the troops.” Icey told us.

”But Icey what are we going to do?” Alb asked.

”We’re going to attack them before they get a chance to attack us.” Icey answered as he walked trough the hallway and we followed him.

”But how Icey? We’re just a group of people and most of us are young an unexperienced.” I said as Icey stopped and turned around.

”We aren’t just any group. We’re the Ice Warriors.
