IWNH: Polo Field Leaves Club Penguin

Kyle EDIT: I will not be active for a few days, because of my laptop problems. My mom is buying the battery for my laptop because the current battery are already running out [0%] and l am plugging my laptop charger everyday to screw up the laptop when l always type – it stops every 5 secs and l have to keep clicking it and wayy to many spams[which is annoying], as well as the a lot of chunk stuff in the laptop that needs to throw in the trash to make the PC nice and clean.

Also l felt sad when l heard about this – that Polo Field are leaving the Club Penguin. Thanks for everything and the Field Day[Previously Field Friday] at every Friday. Thanks for commenting on my post of Frozen Takeover Confirmed back in July 2014. Good Times Polo Field, and thank you! 😦

That’s right, the title says it all. Polo Field is leaving Club Penguin today. Click read more from why he is leaving today. Whether he was laid off or left on his own terms, Polo Field, Club Penguin’s social media manager, is no longer an employee. Polo Field is a longtime employee of Club Penguin: he’s worked there even before Disney bought the game, joining the team back in late 2006 and thats 9 years.[WOW!]

Reminder: Club Penguin Updates Tonight!

Hey Ice Warriors,

SUB ZERO, Club Penguin IWNH HQ –

Club Penguin is updating tonight. They typically update around 8:00 PM PST, unless they update early, which in that case it’s around 12:00 PM PST. This will be their seventeenth update week of 2015. This week there is a moderate amount of updates.

The expected updates this week are as follows:

Frozen Fever Party 2015
Club Penguin Times Issue 496
Probably a new EPF message

If you have not already done the following, I recommend you do so before Club Penguin updates.

***Complete the underground maze at the Dock***

USA Training Session

Hey Ice Warriors,

Today, we have successfully won the server, Sub Zero. The DCP has cheated this battle and they always multilogged this battle as well. Comment if you came to this event!

The Ice Warriors maxed 18 and averaged 17 at the battle of Sub Zero at training session. Great job guys! There should be more Ice Warriors than l expected, but overall it was great! Check IW site for more events of the week! Click read more for pics.

Will be inactive for a bit.

Hey Ice Warriors,

Here’s the reason why l am inactive.

1. As what the title says it all – l am stepping down for a bit, and will be able to come back on Tuesday or Wednesday, if not l have family issues for a bit because my mom always wanted me for help in my house to clean stuff, and to make it things perfectly.

2. I also apologized for not being able to be active for the last 2 days ago, l was working at cafeteria in school 2 days ago, and l was very sick yesterday. But as of today, l am still sick and l will be ok soon. I also am going to see my dad tomorrow.

3. My mom’s friend has cancer and l have to help her friend out, so she can smile on her face. She has been losing her hair, her eyelashes, and her eyebrows.

So yeah, I feel bad for her – but as what my mom said on facebook – with the donations of 5 million to beat her friend of cancer foundation for donations are $4, 050, which isn’t that bad! Im pretty impressive on Facebook of family and friends! I hope you’ll understand this guys, and l am not happy on the #2 one.

I hope l will be there Ice Warriors! Good-luck at the battle field folks!

Club Penguin Lays Off Many Employees

Hey Ice Warriors,

SUB ZERO, Club Penguin IWNH HQ –

If you need any more reason as to why private servers are partially ruining Club Penguin, here’s one: due to a steep decline in membership sales, Club Penguin has had to lay off many employees across their Kelowna and Los Angeles offices, and completely shut down their office in Brighton, England. Yikes.

According to Castanet, 30 jobs were cut at their Kelowna office, and more than that at the Los Angeles division, meaning at least 60 employees have lost their jobs – and that’s without counting all the employees that worked at the Brighton office.

Disney Interactive, the company behind Club Penguin, had issued the following statement to Castanet about the lay offs:

“Disney Interactive continually looks to find ways to create efficiencies and streamline our operations. As part of this ongoing process, we are consolidating a small number of teams and are undergoing a targeted reduction in workforce.”

This is not the first time employees of Club Penguin have been laid off. Four years ago, in June 2011, it was announced that some employees had been laid off and got fired.

According to one of the employees who lost their job, the sales of membership are way down and the company isn’t doing well.

Club Penguin was started in Kelowna in 2005 and was purchased by Disney Online Studios in 2007 for $350 million.

Club Penguin Employees loosing their job! Shame.
